Des aimants permanents entraînent de la limaille de fer brute de manière circulaire. Au fur à mesure du temps la limaille s'oxyde et perd sa caractéristique magnétique. Celle-ci se dépose alors sur la surface électrostatique, laissant apparaître la palette colorimétrique de la rouille. Sorte d'horloge entropique.

Permanent magnets drive round iron filings. Over time the filings oxidize and lose their magnetic characteristic. This is then deposited on the electrostatic surface, revealing the color palette of the rust. Sort of entropic clock.
